The Girl with the Knitted Hair

The girl with the knitted hair,

Woven and threaded

Loops and loops entwined,

Bunching and forming a

Nest,

laughs and jibes elongated the

Wool, resting over her face

The girl made out of patch-work fabric,

Every piece sewn together with a different coloured thread

Every piece stuck haphazardly together, trying to

Awkwardly     place

Ever y thing together to make

Sen se

To be a part of a

Whole

The girl with the button eyes

Which leaked frequently, a fault in the

Line somewhere?

Sew them back in, fix water leakage

The girl with the knitted hair,

Tie it up, brush it out, buy products

Trying to tame it, try to fix it, straighten it,

But going against the natural curls and coils

Is damaging
